Sales Associate

Job Description:

The Sales Associate will, in collaboration with an operations team, help us grow our company! We are a recent startup right in the Business Incubator on the NWTC campus. We are targeting college students that are looking to gain work experience in the sales industry.

Responsibilities

  • This position calls for a professional who will generate revenue by engaging with strategic clients and prospects; manage relationships from first contact to implementation of services.

  • Close new business deals by listening to potential clients’ needs and requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.

  • Present and sell company services to potential clients. Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from website activity.

  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity.

  • Collaborate with the Senior Management Team when reviewing data from potential clients, developing proposals & fee structures.

  • Identify industry opportunities in addition to those industries in which the company has current clients.

  • Maintain CRM system, add new prospects, record all sales related contact activity.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience with sales or in a sales support role and client relations is not required.

  • Ability to persuade and influence others.

  • Be comfortable on the phone

  • Be able to work 15-35 hours per week

  • Good work ethic

  • Ability to think creatively, take initiative, and constructively bring market feedback to Management Team.

  • Self-motivated individual who is passionate about achieving and exceeding sales goals.

  • Industry specific experience not required
